- If your problem is neither identified nor solved by the remedies suggested here, there is one final option. There is a Reset button on the back of your controller which can be pressed using a paperclip (or similar object). The button can be found to the right of the screw found above the sticker on the back of the controller. The controlled must now be synced with the PS3. Simply plug the controller into the front of the PS3 using the black USB cable provided. Once this is done, press the PS button and they will connect. You may unplug the cable then if you wish.
