Greetings from Con

Con is an msc who was born in Dun Laoghaire near Dublin in 1965. He grew up in Kilmacud in South County Dublin. Before joining the msc in 1986 he studied science at UCD and continues to have a strong interest in the New Physics and its ramifications for Spirituality. Having completed his initial formation in 1993 Con spent three years in Myross Wood Retreat Centre in West Cork. There he worked in a variety of retreat ministries, e.g. youth, adult and nature retreats. He also worked as part time chaplain to the Mercy secondary school in Clonakilty. In 1996 Con went to Leuven (Louvain) in Belgium and studied for an MA in the Philosophy of the Human Person, specialising in the writings of Paul Ricoeur. Then after returning to Dublin he trained as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist, for three years, at the Dublin Counselling and Therapy Centre in Gardiner Street. The next two years he spent accompanying msc novices in South Africa and Ireland. Finally in October of 2004 he came to Grace Dieu where he works with all who come to reflect on the mystery of their journey through life.
