Grangecon has a newly formed soccer club namely Grangecon A.F.C. Training started last winter with a view to affiliating to the Kildare & District League this season.
The interest of the team is tremendous, with 25 to 30 turning out for training every Tues. and Fri. night. Tony Nolan (TRAINER) puts them through a gruelling session. Home games are played at Grangecon Community Sportsfield and attract large attendances.
