We Like: For less than $400 the Proform 700 is a serious
Elliptical Trainer. Unlike the Weslo, the design of Proform is similar to
the proper commercial elliptical trainers and while it also provides an upper
and lower body work out, it offers a magnetic resistance system instead of
a nylon strap. The equipment levels are great here with goodies such as iFit
compatibility… an innovative system allows custom build workouts via
video, CD or the Internet, 6 preprogrammed workouts and a heart rate monitor.
We like it.
We Dislike: For less than $400 Proform is not going to
last a lifetime unlike its much more expensive competitors from Precor and
Smooth.
