Local wasteland.

Mixed sun and showers.

This is the larva of the Knotgrass Moth - Acronicta rumicis. Very colourful.

This is a tiny (5mm) ladybird pupa on Alder. I suppose, given the size and colouring, that this will be the 14-spot ladybird.

Common Ragwort has now gone to seed. This year is progressing very quickly.
