High Heath.

Dry but dull.

Sheeps Sorrel - Rumex acetosella - is very difficult to photograph and convey any shape or form, but that's no reason not to try. About 25 cm. tall.

This is a very common fungus around here. Cap about 2 cm. across and always growing in moss. Spores are sub-globose and warty.

A new bracket fungus that took me some time to identify. It's Gloeophylum sepiarium. Specimen about 4 cm. long on dead coniferous log. This is the first Irish record.
