Original Hedgerow, leg 2.

 

Foggy and cold.

 

The leaves and new growth of the Greater Stitchwort have started showing through the dead leaves from last year. Stellaria holostea.

I like this shot of the Mnium hornum. If you think Mnium is difficult to pronounce, have a shot at the family name: Mniaceae.

Flower buds of the Opposite-leaved Golden Saxifrage have appeared all the way along the ditch.

This is the erstwhile dwelling of a spider. Various bits of dried insects still adorn the outside and inside.
