High deforested area.

A gap in the rain. Well, not really a gap. The camera got alarmingly wet during this session.

Two mosses. Pleurozium schreberi is easily identified by its red leaf-stems, and the small 'tree' is Polytrichum formosum.

One of only a couple of plants still in flower in this area. Ox-eye Daisy.

A nice juxtaposition of a spent puff-ball and a Clover leaf. Notice the rust spots on the clover.(And the water droplet.)

A Crepidotus on a Willow twig. I really like the undersurface of these. Brown spored.

New-Zealand Willowherb is an insignificant little plant. I just realised I didn't see it flowering this year, but you have to look carefully to see the flowers, anyway, as they rarely open fully.
