Fife (Scotland) esplanade.

 

Persistent rain.

Two lichens from the promenade wall: Xanthoria parietina on the left and another, presumably a  lime-lover, on the right.

    

 

I was eventually reduced to standing in a storm shelter on the promenade. This little House Sparrow was wandering around picking up scraps where it could find them.
