Fungal foray to Ervey/Ness, NI.

 

Cloudy with showers.

Coprinus micaceus gets its name from the crystaline structures on the cap.

    

 

A new species of fungus for the website: an Earth Fan - Thelophora spiculosa.

Another new species: Helvella micropus.

    

 

An undershot of Oudemansiella mucida.

 

The ground at this point was covered with this Peziza succosa.

 

Stereum rugosum on the underside of a large Beech.

 

The first Amanita of the season: Amanita fulva - Tawny Grisette.

 

This deep wine-coloured Russula was found under Beech. ID awaited.

Hypoxilon fragiforme was found on most dead branches of Beech.
