Hot with some sun.

The Marsh Willowherb - Epilobium palustre - grows near water and has very distinctive strap-shaped leaves.

    

 

It was interesting to watch these Aphids for a little while. Every now and then each aphid would shake violently from left to right a few times. I presume they were drilling new holes to reach more sap.

 

This Eyebright was clearly a darker purple than others that I've seen this year. Notice that the buds (right) start white.

These are the spore structures of the Hard Fern. Spores are only carried on the upright inner fronds.
