Set amid the verdant Knockmealdown and Galtee mountains in the picturesque Vee Valley, this wonderful restaurant  could not be more convenient and the food must be experienced to be believed.

The town is just 15 minutes from Cahir on the Cappoquin road, 20 minutes from Clonmel just after Ardfinnan, 20 minutes from Mitchelstown just after Ballyporeen and only 25 minutes over the Knockmealdown Mountains from both Lismore and Cappoquin.

The Setting

The Hermitage is located centrally in Clogheen village, Access to amenities is, therefore, excellent for such a safe and secluded location. Shops, church, pubs and bank are all within walking distance.

As you leave the village, passing the bridge on the Cahir/Clonmel road, the Hermitage House is the first gateway on your left.
