The rentals are normally 7 nights, Friday to Friday high season only. Outside of high season, we are very flexible about your start days and the length of your stay so please contact us for a quote. We also offer good discounted rates for longer stays on request.
We can also arrange a welcome basket of basic foods for 15 Euro. This is useful if you arrive after the shops have shut.Other apartments
Even if our apartment is booked for the dates you require or if your party is larger than we can accommodate, we have friends with similar apartments who we can recommend so send us an email or call us and we'll try and arrange something to suit. See contact page for more details. Why book independently?
People sometimes ask why they should book accommodation, flights, car etc separately instead of taking a package holiday. The bottom line reason is that for the same quality of accommodation, it's cheaper. Also if you book your own flights, you have more flexibility to use a local airport, reasonable departure times and a convenient date. You will find that the package holiday operators can charge a hefty premium for beach view, balconies, air-conditioning and the apartments are often priced for squeezing 4 people into one bedroom. Give yourself that bit extra room with a second bedroom.
Some apartments are furnished with cheap, bland furniture. Our apartment is luxuriously furnished with personal touches because we use it ourselves.
Questions to ask:
- Is the apartment air conditioned? Our apartment is fully airconditioned with marble floors throughout.
- What is the view like? Our spacious balcony has a fabulous sea view with sweeping vistas along the coast, not over a loud bar, opposite a busy road or facing a piece of scrubland with diggers. Beware of apartments saying they have a golf course view. Ask what is between you and the course.
- Exactly how far is the beach? Duquesa Suites is only a short walk to the beach.
- How far away is the nearest shop? You won't have to drive to the nearest shop, only a 3 minute stroll.
- How far away is the nearest bar/restaurant? There are shops and cafes 3 minutes away and the lively port area is a short walk further on. There is a huge choice of places to eat and drink. Note that closer apartments particularly those overlooking the marina or port can get very noisy.
- What is included in the price? We include the utilities, the 100% cotton bedlinen and bath towels and a weekly maid service and linen change at no extra charge. Satellite TV is also available.
- Any hidden extras? A babybed and high chair area available on request for a small charge.
