Happy New Year to all our families and best wishes for the coming year. We wish the local Pantomime Society every success with their forthcoming production of “Beauty and the Beast” and hope that all of our school children taking part enjoy the experience.

Some dates to note for your diary!

• There will be a staff meeting this Thursday (17^th) at 2pm. Infants can be collected at 1.30pm. There will not be an early bus run but all will be accommodated on the 2pm buses.
• There will be a talk on early literacy and Paired Reading held on Tuesday 22^nd January for parents of Junior Infants at 8pm.
• Umbra Clothing Collections will call to the school on Tuesday 5^th February. Bags will be sent out a week prior to collection
• Our parent/teacher meetings will be held on Tuesday 12^th February from 3pm to approx 8pm. Children will go home at 2.30pm on that day. A timesheet across the whole school will be organised over the coming weeks. This meeting is an important opportunity for both teachers and parents to discuss how their children are getting on at school.
• Mid-term break this term will be Thursday 14^th and Friday 15^th February.
• First confession for 2^nd class will take place on Tuesday March 11^th at St. James Church, Horeswood at 7pm.

Don’t Forget ! Enrolments are currently being taken for September 08 junior infants. Enrolment closes on February 29th
