Berchtesgaden revisited...

What draws me to this Mountain view?
The anger of the murdered Jew?
With cup of tea and cakes we see,
The F
ührer on his balcony.

Who are these people who cajole,
The
Führer ‘neath his parasol?
Warm summer entertaining friends,
Who know not where their journey ends.

Are these just men you simply choose,
To massacre six million Jews?
There’s Albert flicking through a magazine,
Like any other normal human being.

Oh, let us now enjoy this quiet spell,
This patch of blue before the worst is worst,
And drinking tea we’ll journey into hell,
Imagining a different universe.
