Ireland

Currently, the Irish Quidditch team are World Champions.  Their team had a marvellous win over Bulgaria last season.  (For more information see the "Quidditch" page.)  The team mascot for the Irish team is the native Irish leprechaun.

Because of the small wizarding population, young Irish wizards and witches must go abroad to study.  Must usually, these children travel to Hogwarts Academy in England to study for their OWL's and NEWT's.
