The USA, has become most famous for the variation of Quidditch which is played there.   When the first settlers arrived in North America, they had to stop playing Quidditch to protect themselves from discovery.  Quidditch died out as a popular sport in America because of this.  Quodpot has replaced Quidditch in Americal as the national magical game.

Quodpot was invented in the 18th century by a wizard called Abraham Peasegood.   The main difference between Quodpot and Quidditch is that in Quodpot the ball could explode at any minute during the game.
