Irish-owned and managed the Orient is a true success story of Galway.  Established by Charlie Chan, the restaurant has grown from strength to strength as has Galway’s position as one of Ireland’s main cities. 

The restaurant has a workforce of over 120 people.  The philosophy of the restaurant is that its staff is its greatest asset.  The dedication and loyalty of the staff, many of whom are with the company for over 2 years, is a key ingredient of its success.
