CL Precision designs and manufactures plastic injection moulds and die cast tools using the most modern technology available. All moulds are designed in-house on CAD with facilities to CAM and download direct to CNC machine tools, thus giving precision 3D shapes as required on both die and electrodes. Drawing data can be received direct via modem or on disc format using IGES and DXF..
The company has kept in the forefront of the industry by constant reinvestment in advanced technology and training. Quality is the cornerstone of the company's success. At all stages of design through to production rigorous uncompromising tests for quality and accuracy are systematically implemented under the watchful eye of experienced personnel. The company is accredited to IS/ISO 9001/EN 29001.
Its qualified team of designers offers an intelligent design resource. It has in-house personnel to handle a complete project from conception to completion.

M&T, a member of the IMC was set up in 1978 by Thomas Henry and John Armstrong; both had 10 years experience in the precision toolmaking industry, having worked in the computer, automotive and domestic sectors in Canada and America. Today it employs 14 highly skilled people. The company was formed with the aim of providing precision injection moulds to an ever increasing quality-conscious market. M&T has now been acredited with ISO 9002, a recognition of its commitment to quality excellence.
Today M&T manufacturers single multi-cavity injection moulds for the healthcare, computer, automotive and telecommunications industry. M&T also manufacturers moulds for caps and closures and two colour/material moulds. The maximum size is 596mm x 496mm x 496mm. The company also manufacturing precision parts in both imperial and metric.

Precision Parts & Products was founded in 1982 and is located in the north west of Ireland and is serviced by two regional airports. The main activities of the company are the design and manufacture of injection, transfer and compression moulds for the rubber industry and injection and blow moulds for the plastics industry. The product range of companies services include automotive components, healthcare products, toys, household products and advertising.
Employment currently stands at 21 personnel, many of whom have worked for the company for the past ten years. The management has over the years adhered to a policy of reinvestment, both in equipment and training.
The company is certified to ISO 9002 accreditation and is currently working toward world class manufacturing and total quality management standards.

Since its inception in 1978 the company has been developed to specialise in the manufacture of moulds for the plastics and die-casting industries. It also offers a service for mould maintenance, modification and refurbishment. Many of its customers have benefited from its prototyping and short run service. From this it can take a project from concept right through to manufacture.
Its design office is staffed by qualified designers who can produce drawings either manually or using CAD/CAM systems. The CAD/CAM software includes AutoCAD R13, DUCT Machinist, Licom Systems Alphacam and Camtec PEPS.
All this is complemented by its in-house tryout facility in which it has machines up to 300 tonnes clamp force.

Established in 1974, Smithstown has become one of Ireland's leading precision engineering firms. The most important factors in its continuing development since that date are seen by management to be its dedication to product quality and customer satisfaction. The company designs and manufactures a range of products including plastics injection moulds and press tools for the connector, electronic, medical and domestic appliance industries, medical instruments, gauges, jigs and fixtures, precision components and spare parts. It provides low to medium volume capacity on the state-of-the-art production line in its 1400m sq. purpose-built factory.
Its design facilities include CAM and CAD systems interfaced with its CNC machining centres. Using MasterCAM and CadKey allows customer supplied product or part drawings, in various software interchange formats, to be directly used in their design or manufacture.
In 1990 the company achieved the Irish Quality Mark and in 1992 the ISO 9001/EN 29001 was attained and both have been successfully maintained. In 1993 the Taioseach's award was given in recognition of its export substitution programme to multinationals in Ireland.

Established in 1956 Tool & Gauge, a member of the IMC, specialises in the design and manufacture of injection moulds. The company operates from a 3500m sq. plant and employs 50 people. An ongoing investment policy ensures that all the latest CAD and CNC equipment are available to its customers.
Tool & Gauge manufactures a wide range of moulds and tools varying in size from 10kg to 400-kg for companies including multi-nationals in the computer, office equipment, healthcare, automotive, telecommunications and domestic appliance industries. Equipment includes: 5 CAD station; 2 Wire eroders; 4 Machining centres; 6 CNC sparkers; a 1000 x 1000 co-ordinate measuring machine; and various moulding machines to sample moulds up to 400 ton.
Tool & Gauge operates in accordance with ISO 9001 quality standard and carries out 1st Article Dimensional Reports and Tool Capability Studies.

Waterford Tool Company, a member of IMC, was established in 1973 as a privately owned precision sub-contract engineering operation to serve a wide range of industries. A policy of continuously investing in modern machine tools has enabled it to produce a wide range of precision parts including moulds, semi-conductor handling devices, one-off electrical test bays, and small batch quantity precision engineering components. Waterford is a registered ISO 9002 firm with a philosophy of servicing a world class manufacturing environment. It has always maintained a high profile in the market place with its quality standards.
Ship to stock status has already been achieved with many of its multinational customers. The company undergoes regular audits from these companies ensuring the highest level of quality control.
