The Halloween Ball.

The doors they were opened
at midnight fifteen,
for all the invited, the vicious and mean.
The setting was spooky oll over the hall,
The banquet prepared for the Halloween ball.

The first to arrive was an elegant ghost,
Asked who they'd be burning
for Halloween roast.
She was followed by skeletons 'n' hags
one and all,
Werewolves and witches for
the Halloween ball.

The band began hooting, the music was eerie,
The guests started dancing until
they were weary,
They shivered and shook to a werewolf's call,
The night became wild at the Halloween ball.

The ghost gave the hag a sip of love potion,
And they began doing their own locomotion.
The giant was waltzing with
someone
quite small.
There was plenty toe-treading at
the Halloween Ball.

The fashion was wicked
up on the catwalk,
The vampires and goblins all stopped for a gawk.
They sat down to feast and ate spider dhal.
The pumpkins were singing at the Halloween ball.

All of a sudden the witch gave a cry,
The skeleton's fork had
stuck in her eye.
The cat ran miaowing making everything fall,
The chaos began at the
Halloween ball.

The hag drank the troll's blood instead of the punch,
And the werewolf was eating the butler for lunch.
The orge was legless - he could now only crawl.
The guests tried to flee from the Halloween ball.

Broomsticks and black cats and goblins galore,
All raced healess horses to get to the door.
And if you think that this story is tall,
Just join us next year for the
Halloween Ball.
