Sophie O'Brien
I started ballet at the age of five. My teacher was Cynthia O'Dunlaing`, but she is now retired so her daughter Sadhbh now manages the school. It was my idea to take up ballet in the first place. I am now in grade five/. My ballet school is in the same area I live which is Bray.
I attend one class a week at my private school, a class on Saturday, and then a rehearsal on Sunday with INYB.
My favourite ballet is Swan Lake and I've probably seen it two or three times on stage.
I heard about the INYB auditions from my teacher Cynthia O'Dunlaing. I've been in INYB from the beginning, so I've taken part in the three performances up there. I don't really know what I want to do after school, maybe something to do with ballet but I haven't decided yet.
