Joyce has been Artistic/Administrative Director of the Tallahassee Ballet Company since September 1985. She has been successful in strengthening the Company's repertory as well as enhancing the growth of the individual dancers. In order to achieve this, she engages high calibre guest artists and choreographers.

A prolific choreographer herself, she choreographs for TBC's in theatres throughout Britain and appeared on television concert seasons in Spring and Autumn of each year. She also contributes to the choreography for TBC's 'Nutcracker' performance each Christmas since introducing it into the repertory in 1986.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, Joyce has a Master's degree in Dance from Florida State University. She regularly attends dance seminars, conferences and tours in both the U.S., Canada and Europe. Joyce is delighted to be working with the INYBC dancers this year whom she found to be receptive and quick to respond to her choreography.
