The first image (4") was taken at 22:26UT and 22:42UT shortly before totality.
The second image (8") was around mid-totality at 23:26UT, similiar
to the naked-eye view. It was a bright eclipse with the mare visible at mid-totality.
Images by John O'Neill. Imaged with a refractor operating at 1040mm focal length with a DSLR camera set at iso 400.
The images have not been imaged processed to faithfully record the true brightness and colours.
The drawing (at right) was done by Deirdre Kelleghan, this is a photograph of the drawing.
