This is one of many ceanothus varieties available in Ireland their are also prostrate plants to medium growers this is the best blue flowering shrub for the garden. 10'x10' Highly recommended

Evergreen shrub grows in all aspects and soils except waterlogged. New leaves are bright red turning to a rich green. This shrub is equal if not better to Pieris japonica for leaf colour in spring and autumn. Propagate late spring or autumn by semi-ripe cuttings. 6'x6' Highly recommended

Large evergreen shrub suitable for semi-shaded woodland gardens on acid soil.They have handsome leaves when not in flower they are also tolerant of atmospheric pollution. Mulch annually with an acid-free mulch. If the plant is showing signs of yellowing leaves give it sequestered iron. Rhodo`s are available from alpine to tree size some are tolerant of acid soils. Propagate by layering in spring or autumn.

Evergreen shrub suitable for fertile acid soils parial shade preferred as leaves turn yellow in full sun. Young leaves turn red through to yellow then green in spring. Propagate mid-summer prune lightly after flowering. 6'x5'
