Hurling

The year started with the Under 18's losing narrowly to St.
Joseph's C.B.S. In the next match "Lady Luck" again deserted
Jamebo and a narrow defeat to Scoil Uì Chonaill was our lot and
this ended our interest. This was a very young team with ten of
the players being eligible again for next year. Mr Teehan was their
coach, ably assisted by Mr Mac Entee.

The Under16's were more successful. Again the management team
were the same pairing. This time we travelled to the Donahies
Community School and won handsomely. This was followed by
victory away to Malahide Community School. We topped the group
with a win over Colaiste Chillian. In the semi-final we lost to the
eventual winners Colaiste Chiarain. After a bright start we failed
to take advantage of a strong wind and this was the difference
between the teams.

Gaelic Football

The Under 16's have not started their campaign yet. The under
14's were in a very strong group and were beaten by Ballymun
Community School and Swords Community School. The under
18's were unlucky to lose to St'Paul's C.B.S. by 2 points. We gave
away two penalties and missed one ourselves. We now need to beat
St'Tiernan's and Marian College to go through. Mr O'Sullivan is in
charge of this team.

The Under 15's have played two and won two
(Managed by Mr Doyle) and have qualified for the closing stages of
the league. They beat St'Paul's C.B.S. 4 - 2 and Westland Row 3
- 1 .

The under 17's topped their group with 3 wins (Managed by Mr
Dowley). They beat Cabinteely Community School 4-1,
Crumlin C.B.S. 6-0 and Sallynoggin 4-3.

The Under 18's (Managed by Mr Mac Entee) went out of the
Cup 3-2 to Dundalk C.B.S.

Mr Leonard's Under 13's beat one of the favourites St John's
Ballyfermot in the cup but exited in the next round.

A special mention must be made of Terry Bennett in 6 Applied who is
currently starring for the Dublin Colleges Team who are in the Leinster
Final.
