We had three days of snow on Barnagh Hill in early January, 2001, and I got out and about with the Unimog and the camera to take a few pictures. They take a while to load, so here's one to get an idea while I figure out how to put thumbnails here!
If you right-click on the thumbnails below and opt for open in new window, it's probably the best way.
The eight thumbnailed pictures are interlaced GIF's so they load in a temporary way to give you an initial idea of the picture, and continue filling in details as they download in full.
Yes, that's my son in snow4 and me in snow5, Snow6 is the road where we live..and for the snowchain nerds check the imprint in front of and behind the rear wheel in snow7, to see the extra grip given by the chains - yes, they should be tighter, why do you think I stopped?
The view from our hill in snow8 stretches seventy miles to Keeper Hill in Tipperary. Snow9 is a nice laneway near where we live called the Glenmageen Road.
