Little Disc of Music
David Brookes
Little Disc of Music is my own little personal creation that I made over the last year or two. Its a few songs that I made using Cubase SX, FLStudio, my guitar, the piano and my laptop. Then I combined these instruments with (slightly dodgy) beats and virtual instruments. You'll be happy to know, I'm sure, that I don't sing. That would be a bad idea...
Anyway, you can download the songs by clicking the name. They're in the MP3
format and are completely free.
1. Inhale / Exhale 5.13mb
2. See You Soon 7.32mb
3. Kilometres 5.85mb
4. Where Despair Begins 7.15mb
5. Desertion 6.26mb
6. The First of the Ordinary 6.02mb
7. Aspiration 7.41mb

New Songs
These are a mixture of remixed and new songs. Not a lot of time being spent at the moment recording any new stuff because of exams and general laziness. And I'm trying to get used to using Cubase at the moment instead of FLStudio. And sometimes you just run out of ideas.
One Day | 5.56mb | Noodly and downbeat, builds towards the end |
What Will It Be | 2.87mb | Plenty of FX pedals! |
Middlesex | 3.53mb | Mellotron, guitar, piano, 4 chords! Fun! |
Servitude | 4.56mb | Recent song, very influenced by the new Daft Punk album... |
A Different Level | 5.46mb | Actually an old song
(from 2 years ago), but I made a few changes... Daft Punk-ish... |
Older Stuff
These are older songs that I think are starting to show their age. I'd recommend Beaches and Final Moments.
NB It is important that you don't left-click to download the files, otherwise you get bounced around Lycos, as they are currently hosted on Tripod. So, Just right-click the link and select "Save Target As..." and it'll download fine!
