Welcome to Landscape Photographs by Neville Dukes.

I am an amateur photographer based in Dublin Ireland and most of my work is landscape, mainly in Counties Dublin, Wicklow and Wexford, Ireland. I have also included some nature pictures and photographs from places I have visited.

The website contains 144 photographs. There are five galleries each with a selection of photographs in various formats. Images displayed in the galleries are just large enough to show the content and larger versions can be selected by clicking on each of these. Load time for the larger size images may be slightly slower than on many other photographic websites. For Broadband users mainly some images are also presented in larger versions at around 350 to 500 kb.  I hope you find the photographs are worth waiting for.

I have also included an information page with some background information on the website and the equipment used.

  Landscape

Ireland is noted for its wonderful if un-dramatic landscape.  The mood is generally low key but varied. Winter is often the time to appreciate it at its best. The Wicklow Mountains have their own unique character while Wexford, the neighbouring county, presents a different mood with its flatter terrain and varied coastline. This gallery also includes landscapes from other parts of Ireland.

I visited this remarkable city with my wife in April 2002. This is a selection of photographs taken as a personal perspective on the City.

     

Malta, September 2004

This small island in the Mediterranean is noted for its turbulent history which is rooted in its strategic position. It also has great charm and a wonderful climate and is an excellent venue for a different kind of vacation.
