This is the second Fanad Photo Journal and after last year there was so much anticipation about it's contents. Quite obviously people did search their attics and old albums because they have come up with a brand new set of contents this time around. The balance and content is great and the production and editing is top class.

Congratulations must go to the editing team who worked long and hard to make the final choices. Jerry Carr, Kathleen McGrory and Noreen McCafferty have created for us a real masterpiece in photo-journalism. The parish has a proud tradition down the years in every sphere of life and the Journal will serve to preserve that ethos in years to come.
