14. Edward James HOWELL was baptized on 11 Jan 1797 in Stroud, Gloucestershire, England. He was born in 1797 in STROUD Gloucestershire England. He appeared in the census in 1851 in Colwell Street Road, Thornbury. He lived in the cottages on Colwell Street Road, Thornbury in 1851. Colwell Street Road was at the top of Gloucester Road (the George Inn end). The cottages were demolished in the 1960s after being declared unfit for habitation by the council. Dick Shipp bought the site and built his Fiat showroom which in turn was demolished in 1987 to make way for the Gloucester Terrace appartments. He died from a fracture of the skull from being thrown from a colt on 10 Mar 1856 in Old Down, Olveston. Informant - William Gairford, Coroner, Berkley.
Registered 30/06/1856 He was buried on 15 Mar 1856 in Thornbury, Gloucestershire, England. He was a Farrier and Colt Breaker.

15. Anne was born in 1810 in Unknown. She died of enlargement of the liver and dropsey on 15 Mar 1846 in Thornbury, Gloucestershire, England. Informed by Eliza Tanner, present at the death. Registered 18/03/1846 Children were:
