Normandy Landings

Embarked at Weymouth and came ashore at Arromaches. Marched on to Sword Beach where he was seriously injured by shrapnel. He died from (a) myocardial infection (b) carcinoma of the left lung on 14 Feb 1977 in Bristol - Frenchay Hospital. Gladys BURGE and Alec STUDLEY had the following children:
