Our School
Scoil Nano Nagle was founded on September 1st 1975 in the parish of Bawnogue, Clondalkin, Dublin. It is under the patronage of the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin. There are currently 25 teachers on the staff, with a school population of 330 children.
Ours is a junior school which caters for children aged between 4 and 9 years. In addition we have a full pre-school unit which caters for 60 children aged between 3 and 4, which forms part of the national pre-school project known as "Early Start".
As a school that endeavours to provide the best service possible for the local community we are proud of the facilities that we provide. We have a pupil - teacher ratio of 20:1. We have a vibrant and enthusiastic learning support team who assist the teachers in their quest to attend to the individual needs of the children.
There is a strong emphasis on linking home and school for the benefit of the children. While the entire staff plays a role in this, there is a teacher specially appointed to co-ordinate this work.
