John Performing At One Of
His Solo Gigs.

Performances
John is currently performing at home and abroad in a number of different combinations. He plays on the national gig circuit as a solo act using Acoustic guitar and vocals and focusing on his talent as a singer songwriter. Sometimes he increases this to a duo using an excellent Flute and Saxophone player to both compliment songs and bring in some great traditional tunes. Trad being Johns first love, leads him to other gigs in which he displays his talent on Tenor Banjo (all Ireland Champion) and Mandolin. In this situation he uses the talents of a guitar player singer and the two combine beautifully once again on traditional music and songs of either and original \ traditional \ or contemporary folk repertoire. Depending on the venue, John sometimes extends the above line-up to a group form, including percussion and bass, and using very talented players from a long list of trusted friends met through a lifetime of dedicated experience on the musical circuits of Ireland. The combination of Musical talent and experience of Irelands gig scene allows a versatility that caters for the widely varied venues at which he performs.
