This coin is a heavy issue portrait groat of Edward IV struck in Dublin in 1465 or 1466. This coin is a normal example of the heavy type from Dublin. The mintmarks are rose (obverse) and sun (reverse). The legends are unblundered and read: Obverse :

POSVI DEVM ADIVTORE MEVM This coin is in Extremely Fine (EF) condition and is on a full flan. This is an exceptionally nice example of the issue. This issue more normally occurs in Fine (F) or Very Fine (VF) condition and is usually clipped to the point where only half the height of the letters in the outer legends are visible.
