Ali G is a hoax interviewer on Channel 4's 11 o'clock Show. In the guise of an Asian rap artist, he manages to ask outrageous questions of serious politicians and the like. These people are either too stupid to realise he's taking the piss out of them, or too afraid of upsetting a member of an ethnic minority to contradict him. In real life Ali-G is Sacha Baron Cohen, a Jewish Cambridge graduate who also worked as a stand up comedian before being spotted and is now a nationalwide star.
