Result of the Day : Celtic's 11Cs overwhelm St Josephs EW with the aid of a thumping hat-trick from David Cummins.  This team remains undefeated in the league this season.  Man of the match against St Josephs was Owen Naughton. 

11As take the points in 3-1 away win against St Columbans.  Daniel Reynolds grabbed a couple, while Gavin Harte got the other goal.

12As share the points against Rivervalley Rangers on a raw morning in Porterstown with a 0-0 draw.  

12Ds have impressive 3-0 win over Belgrove FC at home in Porterstown.  Craig McGivern was on the mark from the penalty spot to put Celtic on the way. Garry Doyle got the second.  Johnny Cooper weighed in with his usual goal scoring.  This victory sends Celtic to the top of the table. 

12Es go down 1-2 at home to Luks Utd, despite going close to an equaliser in the second half. 

 

13As had a deserved 2-0 victory away to Skerries Town.  Both goals came in the last 3 minutes when Darren Doddy struck.  The second came off a Ricky Flanagan shot which was deflected into the Skerries net.  Man of the match was Eoghan Furlong who controlled the mid-field from start to finish.    

13Fs go down to the odd goal in a 9 goal thriller at home to St Pauls Artane.  4-5 defeat. 

14s advance to 3rd round in Pat McCartan Cup after 2-1 win away to Mullingar Athletic.  Nathan Clarke was the marksman for Celtic scoring both goals, including a rasper from 25 metres.  But full credit to Robert Hoare in the Celtic goal who took off a string of saves to keep them ahead at the final whistle. 

U-15Ds have off-day against Rivervalley Rangers with 0-4 defeat.

16Major DDSL built on their home draw against Verona last week with a convincing 3-0 win over Raheny Utd.  Lorcan McCarthy was put through on the half-hour, and although he had much yet to do, he shot beautifully from some 30 metres giving the Raheny keeper no chance. Barry Walsh got the second, while Ciaran Carr wrapped up the scoring.  Dave O'Connor had another clean sheet looking comfortable with anything that Raheny threw at him.

16Bs were denied full points against Ashbourne at home in Porterstown.  Celtic had led from midway through the second half with an Andy Keogh goal.  But Ashbourne's Keith Scally popped up with seconds to go and shot home the equalizer. 1-1.

17As DDSL have yet another win.  This time it was a 5-1 home victory over Ballyouster Utd.  Mark Moore put Celtic ahead.  Simon Fleming was once again on the score sheet with number 2.  Adam O'Callaghan got a couple, as has been his wont of late, while brother Steve completed the scoring.  5-1 win.

8/11/ 03: AUL Div2 drew 2-2 away to Whitestown in the local derby.  Damien Clarke scored the Celtic first, while Rory Bracken got the equalizer with a last gasp header from a corner.

8As go down 1-3 in tough encounter against Baldoyle in Porterstown.  Ryan Moore got Celtic's goal.
