Celtic's 14As
progress to SFAI 5th round. click
11Bs have fine 3-0 win over Rivervalley Rangers. Though the Rangers looked very good for long spells, they were unable to reflect their style on the scoreboard, a bit like West Ham Utd of old, who were always one of the best footballing sides in the league. Owen Norton, and an OG, and finally one from Paul McGrath, sealed the fate of the Rangers. Celtic were just too sharp for them on the day. Man of the match for Celtic was Sean Hanlon. 12Es take the points against local rivals Huntstown Villa in Laurel Lodge in Castleknock with 2-1 win. 13Ds go down 3-2 at home to Maynooth Town. |
23/11/03 : 16Major DDSL have hard earned draw at home to Portmarnock. Cathal McDermott and Lorcan McCarthy were on the mark for Celtic, while Chris Tyrrell and Andy Sheppard replied for Portmarnock. |
23/11/03 : 17As are disappointed as they have no match due to no-show from ref. 15Bs have comfortable 4-1 win at home to Lusk Utd thanks to a brace each from Ciaran Egan and Ray Kelly. Manager Jim Kelly was delighted with result, and was very thankful to Declan O'Sullivan, who stepped into the breach for the day. 16Bs earn the points with 3-2 win at home to St Brendans. Cian Kennedy, Stephen Kirwan and Umberto Udele were on the mark for Celtic.

Martin Fleming, Deco Cunningham, a couple from Neil McAdam, and his first ever competitive match goal from Colin Fogarty, sealed victory for Celtic. Man of the match was Charlo Heneghan between the sticks. |
