Castleknock Celtic's 11B had a superb win away to St Ita's on Sunday November 28th. Eoin Haughton opened the scoring for Celtic with a cracking shot that went in off the near post. Celtic controlled the midfield for most of the game with Fionn Rogers and Paula Cashen in terrific form. Man of the match Fionn Rogers scored a hat-trick of goals to round off a superb display. His second goal was a real beauty; After receiving the ball outside the penalty area, Fionn went on a mazy run past 3 defenders before slotted the ball home into the corner of the St. Ita's net. Conor McDonald was superb at the back for Celtic, stopping all dangerous attacks with well-timed tackles. Up front Eoin Haughton and Eoin Graham were full of running and a constant thorn in the side of St. Ita's defence. Celtic passed the ball well throughout the match and fully deserved their win.
