RESULTS 14-15th MAY 2006

14/5/06:  NDSL 14A recorded another win, when Graham Walsh hit 2, Craig McGivern scored a rare headed goal, while Ciaran Cully, and Kevin Toomey chipped in to make it a great 5-4 win over Marino in Porterstown.  The victory was all the more remarkable for Celtic had to come back from 0-2 after 15 minutes.  NDSL 15A went down 5-3 despite Ricky Flanagan finding his shooting boots again, and Steve Boyle hitting the target for the first time this season. 12B do it the hard way.  They came from behind 3 times at home to Malahide, but finally ran out 5-3 winners thanks to Jamie Reid, Mark O'Brien, Fionn Rogers, and a brace from Ryan Flood.  AUL Siv3 Sun continued their relentless surge to the league title, with a 2-0 win over Marks Celtic in Porterstown.  Simon Fleming and Billy Thompson were Celtic's marksmen

15/5/06:  NDSL 10A Another 3 points for Celtic leaves them just 1 point away from the league title.  They defeated Clontarf 3-0 with 2 goals from the mercurial Ryan Kearney Moore (2) and Philip Fitzpatrick. A draw against Baldoyle on Wed will give them the elusive double. See Shay Given's message of best wishes given to Celtic. Click   14/5/06: NDSL 11Premier are defeated 2-0 by Baldoyle in final of Tom Coghlan Cup.  Very harsh penalty against Celtic early on left them with difficult task, and when Brian Slevin hit the Baldoyle crossbar late on, the writing was on the wall.   NDSL 13Premier also lost 2-0 in the Joe Kirby Cup against Swords Rovers.
