Celtic's U-11s Leave It Very Late

30/9/01 :  Castleknock Celtic  1   Rivervalley Rangers  1

It started off with an awful opening goal, as the ball bobbled around in the Celtic box, and the Rangers striker left with the simplest of tap-ins.  Celtic battled for almost the full hour to get back on terms, and it was left to man-of-the-match, Joseph Faughan to pop up and rifle home the equaliser.  He fully deserved his award after the match which he holds proudly aloft in photo across.  Centre back Gary Bracken also had an excellent game; he won the man of the match the previous week.  Well done also to Gary and Niall Myron who are on the Brenfer North Dublin League Representative Team  panel and by all accounts are more than holding their own.  But this was a team performance and all must be congratulated for ensuring that this Celtic team maintained their unbeaten record.
