AUDREY:
A very strong, powerful, talented and fiercely independent woman, Audrey (Audi) is, and has been for many years, my best friend and closest confidante. She is my muse, model and the powerful inspirational force that has driven me to produce the works I loosely title "Mostly Women " -without her these works would not exist. I have drawn, painted and photographed her endlessly and obsessively since she was first introduced to me by her mum, who is also an artist herself and a neighbour of mine in Howth, Co. Dublin.
Her granny was an opera singer; her dad is a wonderful pianist, her sister sings with the National Concert Orchestra and her deranged drum n'bass brother has his own band so it was inevitable that the musical muse would emerge and right now she is successfully pursuing her own chosen career as a singer/songwriter. ( Her just-completed demo has already attracted the notice of several of the major international record labels ). Audrey is dropdead gorgeous, very smart, totally enthralling and wildly witty with a great future ahead of her. I just get to draw her, paint her, photograph her and hang out with her -my beautiful little buddy. Ain't life a bitch....
