The Kenmare Art Gallery is located in picturesque Bridge Street, (beside the tourist office),in one of Kenmare's loveliest buildings. A relaxed and unhurried space, it is the perfect atmosphere in which to browse, offering a varied selection of works by the gallery artists.

As the Beara Peninsula has long been home to an established number of artists of exceptional talent, who indeed enjoy standing and success in the art world, it is our aim to provide an exciting exhibition venue and to act as a link between the artists and clients wishing to source their work. Ongoing group exhibitions throughout the year will also feature invited artists from elsewhere in Ireland and abroad.

Kenmare itself, a cosmopolitan town positioned at the entrance to the Beara Peninsula, attracts visitors from all over the world, who now have the opportunity to view the work of some of Ireland's finest contemporary artists.

Gallerist Martina Viscardi will be happy to assist you in choosing a work should you so wish or in sourcing what is suitable for your requirements. Also an interior designer, her involvement in placing art in an interior context has long been a feature of her work, as has also exhibition organization and artist's catalogue design. Qualifying in Interior Architecture with a Int. Arch. Dip. from the CSIA in Lugano, Switzerland, there followed a decade of professional practice in Zurich, with the completion of numerous world-wide projects.

She now runs this exciting new venue in Kenmare, which, combined with an art advisory service, will also assist in the sourcing of artworks for corporate and interior clients. Commissions for private clients, hotels, etc. can also be arranged through the gallery.
