Keppel's Farmhouse - Bed and Breakfast

Built around 1880, this traditional Irish Farmhouse is set in quiet countryside on a working dairy farm, 2km from Avoca and 5km from the N11 to the north of Arklow

Keppel's Farmhouse is approximately 75 minutes drive from both Dun Laoghaire and Rosslare Ferry Ports and 2 hours drive from Dublin Airport.

Accomodation at our farmhouse is spacious, bright, comfortable and recently refurbished. All rooms have en suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, televisions and hairdryers. We are pleased to offer our guests a non-smoking home.

Enjoy breathtaking views of the beautiful Vale of Avoca, and beyond, from our home not two miles from the famous filming location for the BBC show "Ballykissangel".

Directions from Dublin Airport:
Take the M50 southbound, bypassing the city centre, connecting to the N11 then. A good way to find your way to the south of the city is to follow the signs for the Ferry Port which brings you directly onto the N11. Take the Bray Bypass, at Loughlinstown Roundabout to Newtownmountkennedy, Ashford, Rathnew and on to Arklow. Take the slip road into Arklow from the Bypass.
Before you enter the town, on the right hand side, in a dip in the road, you will see a Rover Garage; take this road right(the Beech road) and travel along for 5km. Keppel's Farmhouse is on the left hand side of the road. We are 1km off this road.

From Rosslare Port:
Take the road through Wexford Town where you take a right turn across the bridge, at the traffic lights. Follow the R741 road through Castlebridge, Ballyedmund, Ballycanew and Gorey. Take the slip raod off the Bypass into Arklow and travel for about 1 km until you reach a roundabout. Go straight through the roundabout towards Avoca, veering right at The Woodenbridge Hotel and continuing on to Avoca. Coming into Avoca take a right turn over the bridge. Fitzgeralds Pub stands in front of you and you take another right up the hill. Continue on for 2km. Keppel's Farmhouse is on the right hand side.
