Giles is late for his flight but it’s Christmas Eve and he has to catch it. If he doesn’t make it to the West Of Ireland before Midnight, his granny will disinherit him.
The plane is full but Giles kicks up sufficient fuss to get himself into the little-used ‘J-Seat’ which most planes have. The trouble with the J-Seat is that sitting in it can be a nerve-wracking experience, particularly on a terrible night like this, and despite his denials, Giles is a very nervous passenger.
Far off to the West a confrontation is brewing between Joe, a wealthy land-owner and the two men who are secreted in a bunker in his garden, listening to his every move. Joe knows they are there and intends to have some seasonal fun with them.
But the chance presence of a jittery passenger, on a plane
far away, may have a considerable part to play in the drama about to unfold...
