Radio Carousel, Navan - this is the view from the on-air chair. The station was located in a glass hexagonal unit in the middle of the Navan Shopping Centre. The black cassette recorder was used for the overnight tapes, as it had an auto-reverse and continuous play facility. The cassettes on the left were jingles and promotions. The mixer was a basic 8 channel mixer.

Very primitive by today's broadcasting standards, but it worked and we LOVED IT!
