Radio Carousel, Navan. This is 'ol HH', otherwise known as Hugh hardy. Hugh was the Managing Director and owner of Radio Carousel. He presented a twice-daily radio show called "Country Call" - 60 minutes of the best Irish and country music. The programme was broadcast daily from Midday to 1pm; and 7pm to 8pm from the Radio Carousel Dundalk studios. The show was relayed via FM link to the Navan transmitter which was AM 1386 KHz.

Pictured below, this is Hugh arriving at the Navan studios to present his show. While nearly all the "Country Call" shows originated from the Dundalk studios, he would, occasionally, travel to Navan to present his programme.
