• In conjunction with O'Sullivan's Walk and the O'Finnerty Gathering, the Kilbegnet and Ballinakill Historical Society will host a O'Finnerty Heritage Seminar at the C.S. Parnell Heritage Centre, Creggs, East Galway, Republic of Ireland.
   
• The seminar will be held on 24 June 2003 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., and will be conducted by Lt. Col. Richard Finnerty [USAF ret.] of Honolulu, Hawaii.
   
• Lt. Col. Finnerty has published a book on the ancient history of the Siol Muireadach O'Finnertys of Connacht, and is at the present time completing a more extensive book on the O'Finnertys of Ireland.
