It was a Monday Morning and we’d just come in. I was very tired after the weekend. I just heard the teacher reading out a story from our ‘The Last Day” and telling us to do questions on it. Then it went blank. I was in another daydream. Normally when I get daydreams I just get lost in thought. It started off in my daydream as me reading a magazine and it said that you could be a model – all you need is your parent’s permission. So I asked my parents. They said no at first but I edged them and then they said yes, so I was on the next flight to Florida with three friends and a parent. We were going for two weeks. Everything is going to be free, the flight, the Villa. It had a huge swimming pool and slides on it and a big trampoline. Mostly we were at the beach. We woke up the next morning and hit the beach again. But then we realised the time. We had to get to the photo shoot in two hours! When we got to the photo shoot there was loads of lights and cameras. They took a few pictures of me and then my other friends and then all of us together. They told us we were going to be on every teenage magazine. Then I just heard the teacher calling my name and I woke up. It was a daydream worthy of Walter Mitty. I learned my lesson that day that dreams can come true.
