Take a whole newspaper. Open it out and roll it lengthways into a tube. Tape the tube loosely along the edges.

Fold the paper tube in half so that one side is slightly longer than the other. Tape two balls of newspaper onto the top of the tube for the eyes.

Use some strong cardboard to cut out a fin and tail shapes for the fish.

Stick the cardboard shapes on to the folded paper tube. Attach them securely with tape.

Put strips of toilet paper on the fish and brush over them with the glue mixture. Cover the whole fish with three layers of the toilet paper and glue mixture, then leave to dry overnight.

Use a marker to draw in details such as eyes, teeth, and fin stripes on your fish. Then finish the fish by painting it in bright, tropical colours.
