John Lynch (Banjo) The band leader is a native of Kilfenora now living in
Clarecastle Co. Clare. He is the third generation Lynch to play with "The Kilfenora Céili Band". He is employed as a teacher in Edmund Rice College Limerick, is married to Noreen and has four children Patrick, John, Michael and Íde. He has been leader of the band since 1992 in which time they have won threeAll Ireland Senior Band titles back to back and, to date, have made two
more albums."

Garry Shannon (flute) learned music in Corofin with sisters, Majella, Sharon and Mary. Senior
All-Ireland winner '88. A wealth of recording and performance experience.
Solo album '89. Toured with various groups in Europe, the Soviet Union,
Australia and North America. Admires veteran Paddy Mullins and hopes to be still able to fill a flute at his age!

Anthony Quigney (flute). Anthony is a native of Clooney. He was introduced to music by his mother Christina who taught him the whistle in his early days as a musician. He is no stranger to Ceili band music. He was a member of many under age bands and groups from both Tulla and Ennis who won All-Ireland titles. After that he trained numerous bands in Tulla to many sucesses. Along with Aidan McMahon they won the All-Ireland duet competition in 1995. He has toured in the US, France, UK, Luxembourg and throughout Ireland.He admires the playing of Matt Molloy who was very helpful to him as a young musician.

Anne Marie McCormack (Fiddle) from Kilfenora plays fiddle with the band. Her granduncle Jim McCormack played with the old Kilfenora Ceili Band and another great band member Gus Tierney taught Anne Marie. She has recorded with the St Fachnans Ceili Band and also with her husband Conor McCarthy and Cyril O’Donoghue on the popular CD "Ace & Deuce".

Conor McCarthy (Accordion)from Ennis, plays accordion and comes from a very musical family. Taught by his father Johnny McCarthy, he has a great appreciation for genuine traditional music. Conor teaches Accordion & Concertina in Barefield and has also played with the Shaskeen. Conor and Anne Marie brought out a popular CD of traditional music recently with Cyril O’Donoghue called "Ace & Deuce"

Fintan McMahon (Piano) hails from Main Street Kilfenora. His mother Phil introduced him to the piano and brought him through his introduction to classical piano. Later came the "Vamp" in playing with junior bands around Kilfenora. He was delighted when John Lynch asked him to join current band. He enjoys the music of Karl Hession. He has also recorded with St. Fachnans Ceili band playing the flute.
Aidan McMahon (Fiddle) comes from the village of Kilfenora itself and his family tree has its roots firmly planted in the foundation of the Celi Band. His Great Grand Father Michael Slattery played fiddle and was one of the founder members of the first Kilfenora band at the turn of the century. His grand mother was involved in coaching the band to its success in the 50’s. Aidans first introduction to music came from his mother Phil Conole/McMahon whose encouragement and musical knowledge was a major influence. Like the other two fiddlers in the group Aidan learned the fiddle from and was strongly influenced by Gus Tierney , a renowned fiddler with the Kilfenora Celi Band. Aidan has won a number of underage all Irelands with celi bands and duets. At senior level he has won all Ireland duet and trio and of course played in all three of the Celi bands three in a row in the nineties. Anne Rynne (Fiddle) hails from Cahersherkin, mid way betwee Ennistymon & Kilfenora. She learned her first tunes from her father Sean and her grandfather Johnny. Anne later attended formal classes under the expert tuition of former band member Gus Tierney. She enjoyed many years playing with the Naomh Fachna and Noamh Eoin Ceili Bands in both Slogadh & Fleadh Cheoil winning many awards. After College Anne went to Connecticut where she played with the local musicians and the "Music in the Glen" Band. She later travelled to Chicago and enjoyed many sessions with well known Irish American musicians. In 1990 Anne went to London where for 4 years she worked at the London Irish Centrereturning in late 1993 when she was immediately recruited by John Lynch to join the band.
Sean Griffin (Drums) from Barefield is the drummer with the band. He is the youngest member of the band having joined at the tender age of 17. He previously with junior Tulla bands with whom he won 2 All Ireland titles. Tim Collins (Concertina) hails from West Limerick. Timmy brings a wealth of musical knowledge, including the rich style of polka and slide playing of his native west Limerick. He is widely respected as both a musician and teacher of the concertina. He has played in many countries including US, Britain, Germany, France and many others. Tim has played with a number of groups including Flaxen. Most recently he has performed across the world with the highly acclaimed composer Liam Lawton.
